The beginning of Chick Fil A

Chick-fil-A was founded in the early 1940s by S. Truett Cathy, a devout Southern Baptist. The restaurant became known for its Christian values, such as being closed on Sundays so that employees could attend church. It also donates a percentage of its profits to Christian organizations. Chick Fil A locations

Chick-fil-A is an American fast food restaurant chain headquartered in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. The company was founded in 1946 by S. Truett Cathy. Chick-fil-A specializes in chicken sandwiches and offers a variety of menu items, including salads, wraps, breakfast items, and sides.

As of 2019, there are over 2,400 Chick-fil-A locations across the United States. The first Chick-fil-A location outside of the South was opened in Arizona in 1992. There are now Chick-fil-A restaurants in 47 states. The only states without a Chick-fil-A location are Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming.
